Create and convince, the two obsessions of creative designers.
Yes, creation has always been the key mission and challenge for designers. It’s a difficult exercise to work on future products, trying to anticipate and visualize future consumer trends. And it is even more difficult to sell this vision to decide whether it will be developed or not.
Recently one of my designer friends told me that he has to spend almost half of his time to convince people about his design proposals. This means that any tool that can help him to present, explain and convince decision makers about his design intent is critical to his success.
As you know designers also have a strong visual culture and way of communication. This is the reason why industrial design software like CATIA for Design offers photorealistic real-time and rendering visualization tools. To help designers communicate their Designs.

Not too long ago designers used to communicate their design intent with only sketches and sometimes with physical clay prototypes. Today’s new generation designers express and communicate their ideas and creations with sketches as do painters, but also with 3D visualization as do sculptors.

Here is a rim designed on CATIA V5 R19 using the workbench Imagine & Shape for the modeling and Photo Studio 1 for the rendering.

The Slidaa is a symbiosis from a long-distances bicycle and a drift mobile built in Catia V5R19 IMA, GSD and Part Design.
Only if the driver really looks for the Kick and applies the necessary cornering forces, the mechanism at the rear wheel ball separates and the fun can begin.
After jerky releasing of the Drifts the benefit-fullest part of the unstable driving art receives the driver – the drift phase.
From now on everything runs off calmly, controlled. Who converts the mechanism automatically and effectively is going to devote one’s body and soul to the drift virus.

Good day everybody,
this is my work using catia v5 and it is a tee fitting.ive used part design workbench and photo studio workbench.
Although it is just a small part, but it have big purpose to fit with a pipe hose or something and the most important is it can hold high pressure to divide the air or water flow.

This supermarket cart was designed for children which want to do like their parents.
Children can easily control it thanks to the multidirectional ball placed in front.
The red tablet allows to make slide products in the removable basket.

These are images generated during the in-house ID development of the DWM120 portable bandsaw. This tool is used in industrial metal cutting applications. The images were rendered in PHS, and the tool was designed in V5R15 using GSD & Part design workbenches.

built in Catia V5R19 IMA, GSD and Part Design. The swallow concept is inspired by the idea of flying over the surface of the water, consists in giving new sensations to users to fly over water for leisure or sport purposes.
Actually this idea, resulting from the combination of sports like windsurf, skyski and bodysurf, allows us to have new sensations in the aquatic environment, using the effect of lift : the board will lift and the user will then be able to set his height by rocking on the board.
For the balance against the wind, the user will take a position similar to the motorcyclist’s. He will use his weight to find his having a balance.
On the front, the handlebar can pivot, which allows to steer the board. The shifter located underneath the handles allows to control the orientation of the sail.

This object is a keyring designed and rendered in Catia V5 R17.
I concept this model because i wanted to make an object to be very atractive and to have an unique design.
It is also without postprocesing like the nokia model…so there are the pictures like they are from Catia – unmodified in another program.

Hello again.
After a few experiments with the materials i realize a precise and clear render of Nokia N95.I was trying to make the picture as realistic as possible so I put the lights in a specific way because i don’t want to burn the surface. I construct the model in Generative Shape Design,Part Design, FreeStyle and Imagine and Shape.
I construct the model in a scale of 1:1 piece by piece and , after, i asemblyed the pieces who compose the model in Assembly Design.
The render is obtain in Photo Studio.

Built in Catia V5R19 IMA, GSD and Part Design, and being inspired by the idea of flying over the surface of the water, the Swallow Concept consists in giving new sensations to users to fly over water for leisure or sport purposes.

I’m sure that you could host a talent search with your site. Companies could ask for a thing designed and the winner would get the prize money. Suited for freelancers, it could be a competition and companies would end up getting real quality.
Some of these graphic designs are very good.
The concept furniture is what’s most interesting and highest in demand. I’ll be back here looking for innovation.
