There's a www.buran.ru site, dedicted to history of russian shuttle- Buran and fw othe projects. There are a lot of 3D models (frankly -I've participated in creation of them). Bad thing - the english version of that site not so rich as russian one. Another on is also related to space - Apollo 11 landing site on NASA http://www.nasa.gov/externalflash/apollo11_landing/ Oleg, I’d give cople more of great examples of 3D usage for history.
