Thanks for your comments. Hey, and you’re the first to comment! ;-)
It’s great to get feedback from folks about our mission statement. You could add after “experience”, “product [lifecycle] in 3D” if you will. (I’m told mission and vision are meant to be read together, oops! I should’ve included our vision statement, “3D opens the door to the world that we imagine.”)
DS is trying to get at what we call lifelike experiences. Through our software solutions, we hope to help PLM participants “experience” the products in question before they are actually produced, when it’s still time to make design adjustments. The idea is that the more lifelike an experience with the 3D virtual product, the better you can adjust it in a meaningful way for the real world. I think ultimately we’re striving to help customers benefit from immersive design experiences, which I’ll be blogging about tomorrow (Design Studio pillar 3).
Per your blog chart comment, I don’t want in any way you or anyone to feel deterred about leaving comments. So I’ve taken off the sentence and blog chart. Instead I placed the web terms of use in the footer, so please comment away. :-)
Best,
Kate

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your comments. Hey, and you’re the first to comment! <img

Even Microsoft lawyers did not put such an horrible thing in place! The blog is here to provide an "open discussion framework", not to give readers the feeling that Big Brother is watching them...
Beware of bad reactions, like this one:

I will need to go and read some other blog to see if they have a team of lawyers. It is amazing but I think this is the first blog that has a license agreement.

I was amused by this little linked named Blog Chart. “Enable people to create innovative products and experience the whole lifecycle to build a better environment for the future.”
Experience a lifecycle to build a better environment?????
I have been in PLM since the begining and have worked for DS and I have no idea what this means. Imagine a poor customer.

I think your sentence needs a little design.

“Enable people to create innovative products and experience the whole lifecycle to build a better environment for the future.”

Experience a lifecycle to build a better environment?????

I have been in PLM since the begining and have worked for DS and I have no idea what this means.
